NUS or National University of Singapore is a world leader in imparting quality education and research programs to both the local residents and foreign students. It's among the known Asian universities offering global education. Every year countless students from more than 100 countries apply in NUS    
for various academic programs. It is the oldest university of Singapore and it was established in 1980 through the collaboration of University of Singapore and Nanyang University. NUS has a semester based education system and has 16 schools/faculties, including a music conservatory, offering various courses.

Admission Requirement:


International students seeking admissions to NUS undergraduate programs should have completed or are completing high school at the time of applying for the course. Well, the course requirements vary but high school qualification is the basic requirement.
Since all courses at NUS are conducted in English, the applicants are expected to have a minimum proficiency in English Language. For some courses, students have to show the test scores from any of the below listed tests(1):

Based on the qualifications students have to appear in SAT Reasoning Test(SAT I) and SAT Subject Test(SAT II).
Applicants can choose a maximum of 5 courses in a single application form. The courses should be filled in order of their preference as applicants will be admitted to courses of highest preference, if selected.
There is a procedure of direct entry to students who have extraordinary academic outcome and for students who have exceptional achievement in co-curricular activities.

How to Apply:

To apply for a specific course fill an application form available online on the official website of NSU and submit the form with required documents. Once your application is submitted successfully, an acknowledgment screen with your application number will be displayed. Keep the print of the acknowledgment screen with you for future use.
Documents required for application are class X scores, predicted scores of class XII, university academic transcripts(if applicable), score card of IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I and SAT II(if applicable), birth certificate, medical examination report, copy of passport(if applicable). The completed form with all these documents should be sent online.    

Course of Choice:
The course of choice should be filled with proper care. Students can apply for five different courses in a single application form.

Result:
The outcome of your application will be announced in May or July.
